Nipple Clamps: Tweezers, Clovers, Alligators, and Magnets

A nipple clamp is one of the small, high-impact tools in BDSM. It pinches the nipple to cause pain or to raise sensitivity. The idea is not new. A literary description shows up in the Marquis de Sade’s 1790 novel Justine. For adults who have agreed to it, the mechanism splits two ways. One is nerve pressure, used in breast torture. The contact point is small and the pain is high. Experienced players use them for edging and for dedicated torture. How much the removal peaks depends on the speed and the hand. Magnetic clamps pinch the nipple between strong magnets. The pressure does not fine-tune. The intensity can match a clover. They suit people who already know their limit and their color-change cues.

Chains, predicament, and the toy bag

Clamps often connect, by chain, to other gear or to the room. In predicament bondage a clamp tied to a wall hook punishes a shift in position. A Y-setup links both nipples to a clit clamp or a cock ring, three points, so movement at any one of them loads the others. The chain is a mechanical link and a visual signal. A decorative lock or a bell can turn the clamps into a protocol marker.
