Lord Morpheous is a Canadian sex educator, author, and photographer based in New York. He is best known to beginners for the practical trilogy How to Be Kinky: A Beginner’s Guide to BDSM, How to Be Kinkier: More Adventures in Adult Playtime, and Bondage Basics: Naughty Knots and Risqué Restraints You Need to Know. Over years it grew into a roughly 4,000-square-foot venue, adding live internet streams and satellite events in Orlando, Florida, and San Francisco, California. Organizers reported on the order of 6,000 in-person attendees across the three cities and about 75,000 watching online. Programming ran about twelve hours, from simple floor bondage to aerial suspension—art-installation logic applied to restraint.
KinkMe App, Altsexed, and Journalism
Morpheous created the KinkMe app around “kink compatibility”: users fill a checklist of activities and “bump” phones to compare interests—a gamified negotiation worksheet. Altsexed hosts his lecture offerings for universities and community education. He also writes a BDSM and rope-bondage column for Hustler Hollywood aimed at beginners, covering consent and communication, safety in kinky sex, and how to raise BDSM with a partner.
