Christina Douglas was a prominent member of high society in her grand estate, but behind the scenes, things were amiss. As the recently widowed wife of Mr. Douglas, she had been liquidating valuable assets from the trust to sustain the lifestyle and bolster her status. When discovered by the dedicated gardeners, John and his son Jimmy, she is confronted and encouraged to make amends… or face consequences!

But matters become more complex when Anne, Mrs. Douglas’ young and energetic daughter, observes her mother in a compromising situation with Jimmy, her longtime acquaintance! John Gardener explains it as adults resolving a dispute amicably, but Anne remains skeptical…

When she approaches Jimmy in the garden to clarify, Jimmy draws from his father’s wisdom and discloses that Christina is in a difficult position! Following his father’s lead, Jimmy finally achieves his goal: collaborating closely with Anne on the estate’s restoration! But a young enthusiast is tireless, and Jimmy can’t resist involving innocent Anne in hands-on tasks, even during work hours where colleagues might notice their productive efforts in the storage area! Anne is eager to resolve the issue and support her mother, willing to dedicate her time and effort to do whatever is needed.

However, the Gardeners won’t relinquish their roles without resolve… and someone will emerge as the key figure in the surprising conclusion!
