Franco Saudelli (born 4 August 1952) is an Italian comics artist best known for erotic stories in which bondage and barefoot fetish play dominate the page. For kink readers who collect European erotic bande dessinée, his name sits with the artists who made rope, heels, and soles a recurring visual language rather than a one-off gag.
Career Path
Saudelli was born in Latina (Lazio) and moved early to Rome. He entered comics in the mid-1970s, first collaborating with Ugolino Cossu and Massimo Rotundo, then from 1978 drawing western stories for the magazine Lanciostory. He later worked with Roberto Baldazzini, Stefano Piselli, and Riccardo Morrocchi on Baldazzini & Saudelli’s Bizarreries (Book One and Book Two). His work appeared in Italian and French magazines including Orient Express, Libération, and Charlie Mensuel.
Erotic Work, Bondage, and Bare Feet
In the 1980s he began short erotic comics for Comic Art, Glamour, and Diva, sometimes collaborating with Giovanna Casotto. Bondage scenes and barefoot fetish detail are central—not background flavor.
