Emma Holly (born 1961, New Jersey) is an American author of erotic romance novels, often with a focus on BDSM. She has written over twenty books and was a finalist for the Romance Writers of America 2004 RITA award for Best Paranormal Romance.
Biography
Holly was born in New Jersey and raised in Baltimore with her older sister Laurie. She has said that a pre-adolescent fantasy of being Batman’s fiancée already pointed her toward writing. After about ten years of work she sold her first book in 1998. She specializes in erotica-romance with frequent BDSM dynamics; another common element of her style is a bisexual male protagonist.
