Easter in Berlin (also Easter Berlin), founded in 1972, is one of the biggest leather and fetish events in Europe. It takes place in Berlin every year at Easter (March or April). Thousands of leather, rubber, sportswear, skin, and uniform lovers from around the world gather for fetish events across the city.
BLF and German Mr Leather
The meeting is organized by members of the club BLF—Berlin Leder und Fetisch e.V. (Berlin Leather and Fetish). In the past the event has elected its titleholder, German Mr Leather, on Easter Sunday. Programming spans parties, contests, and multi-day scene social space rather than a single club night.
Nollendorfplatz and the Berlin Calendar
The centre of Easter in Berlin is at Nollendorfplatz, a gay and queer neighborhood in western Berlin. The autumn leather and fetish event Folsom Europe is also held annually in the same neighborhood. Other major gay festivals in Berlin include Berlin Pride and Kreuzberg Pride.
