Set in 1000 AD, Europe is plunged into a period of unparalleled hardship during the Middle Ages, a time when fear and superstition ruled daily life. The Church, wielding immense power, spread the belief in witchcraft to maintain control over the masses. The Inquisition, the chosen instrument of God's wrath, became synonymous with terror as its judges exploited their power for personal gain. Confiscating estates, silencing opponents, and indulging in their own depraved desires, these men hid behind the guise of piety. In the name of the Lord, they committed unspeakable acts, using religion as a veil for their own dark pleasures.
