Nami Matsukawa (松川 ナミ, Matsukawa Nami) is a Japanese 1980s pink-film actress and bondage/fetish model best known as Nikkatsu’s fourth SM Queen in 1983—the short reign between Izumi Shima’s era and Miki Takakura’s succession in the studio’s Roman Porno S&M star system.
Club Work to Studio Debut
By 1980 she worked as a sex worker named “Emi” at the SM club Blue Chateau in Akasaka, Tokyo—real dungeon labor before studio branding. Nikkatsu debuted her in Masaru Konuma’s 1982 Slave Contract (奴隷契約書). Promotion later crowned her fourth “SM Queen” (SMの女王) after Naomi Tani, Junko Mabuki, and Izumi Shima. That succession line is core Japanese pink-cinema lore: each Queen offered a different body type and temperament for rope features and sacrifice plots.
Bondage Modeling and Dan’s Critique
In 1982 she also modeled for nawashi Hiroshi Urado in the Nikkatsu Video series SM Fairy Nami Matsukawa (SMの妖精・松川ナミ). Audiences liked her girl-next-door quality. SM author Oniroku Dan complained she was not fleshy enough, unlike buxom Naomi Tani, to be an appealing bondage subject in his films—studio marketing sold Queen continuity while Dan’s taste privileged a more voluptuous canvas for rope marks.
Short Reign
Konuma’s Rope and Breasts was Matsukawa’s farewell as SM Queen after a brief reign; Miki Takakura replaced her. Reference works include Thomas and Yuko Mihara Weisser’s Japanese Cinema Encyclopedia: The Sex Films (1998; ISBN 1-889288-52-7). For bdsmwild readers she is the early-80s bridge Queen—Blue Chateau “Emi” turned Konuma lead and Urado video fairy—proof the SM Queen title was an industrial role as much as a personal myth, still collectible for fans of Nikkatsu bondage cinema.
Her short Queen reign still matters in Nikkatsu SM lineage charts: club authenticity, Konuma features, Urado rope video, then Takakura’s succession after Rope and Breasts.
