A documentary of a Norio Sugiura kinbaku photo shoot, recorded as live studio time rather than finished stills. Popular actress Rei Mizuna takes hemp rope from nawashi Akira Naka: her legs are forced wide in spread-leg bondage, her body is folded into ebi (shrimp) bondage, then she is taken into suspension. In a studio thick with heat and unpredictable direction, the camera never looks away as each bite of the rope turns a sweet face toward pain and allure. A work for watching the act of being bound itself, which still photographs cannot hold.
